Who ever thought you’d read “Nutella” and “good for you” in the same sentence?
Well, here it goes: “Nutella energy bites are good for you when you need an afternoon energy boost.”
Go ahead, say it out loud.
Make it even better by adding, “They’re no-bake and easy to make.”
Here’s the recipe:
- 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 2/3 cup Nutella
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup roasted hazelnuts
- 2 Tbsp. ground flax seeds
- 1 Tbsp. chia seeds
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Toss all the ingredients in a food processor and pulse until they’re combined. Cover the tasty mixture and stash it in your refrigerator to chill for about 45 minutes. When it’s cool, remove and roll into balls about one inch in diameter. Keep refrigerated in a covered container. Makes about 24 tasty energy bites.
