App aimed at addiction prevention, recovery available

Drivers are mobile and now their health resources are becoming more mobile with them.

Reach Out Recovery (ROR), a non-profit organization focusing on addiction prevention, recovery and healthy living, launched an app recently that makes their services accessible from Android and Apple smartphones.

The app connects users to the same resources available on ROR’s website, including world news, support and general information. There is a Google map-assisted meeting finder feature for those seeking support.

“Recovery is much more than not using, or not doing something,” said ROR founder Leslie Glass in a news release. “ROR evolved as a safe place for people not only to recover from whatever caused problems in their lives, but also to stay successful in a new healthier lifestyle. With new content everyday, ROR is a one-stop shopping destination for those seeking a healthy, productive life.”
