The American Heart Association (AHA) has launched its first online heart healthy recipe library, complete with over 350 recipes and their nutritional information.
The recipe hub has over 100 videos on cooking techniques. Users can create their own profile and bookmark their favorite recipes and build their own customized recipes.
A search function lets users look for recipes based on their favorite ingredients or leave out recipes that have items they may not like or have be allergic to.
“The AHA’s new recipe hub is a great asset for every type of home cook, keeping meal preparation simple, quick and affordable,” said Hamlet Garcia, an AHA spokesperson.
The heart healthy recipes are available in English and Spanish. It is hosted through AHA’s website online.
