The Davis Travel Centers location in Stony Creek, Virginia, offers a full-service health clinic, which offers wellness visits, sick visits, flu and pneumonia shots, DOT physicals, drug testing and other health care services.

Bill Decker, manager of the Stony Creek location, said they’ve wanted to add a clinic to the truck stop for a while. Decker said drivers have liked being able to get their DOT physicals handled while they’re there.

“For the drivers, especially with the new ELD rules, they don’t have time to see a doctor because they’re under so much pressure to get from Point A to Point B,” Decker said. “I think this just helps them, especially if they’re on downtime and they’re sitting at the Stony Creek location, they’re able to knock all that out at one time.”

The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The truck stop offers other amenities for drivers, including six showers, seven fuel lanes, a driver’s lounge, laundry facilities, FedEx drop-off, CAT scales and more.

The Stony Creek Davis Travel Centers location is off of I-95 at Exit 33. The GPS address is: 13306 St. Johns Church Road, Stony Creek, Virginia 23882.
