Truckin’ Runners will hold a virtual 5K race.

Traveling 5 kilometers – a.k.a. 3.1 miles – is nothing for most truckers.

That is, if they happen to be driving. However, it’s a different story if you’re driver who also is a runner.

Truckin’ Runners will hold its first virtual 5K race Oct. 25 and 26. It’s a benefit for the St. Christopher’s Development and Relief Fund, which aids truckers in need.

Participants can run or walk a 5K route of their choice anytime or anywhere that weekend. Then record their times online.

Truckers/Runners register online and then will record their times afterwards. There are categories by age and gender; for walking and running.

Runners who register by Wednesday, Oct. 1 will receive a race t-shirt and finisher’s medal.
