Bestpass now covers all of Texas; Oklahoma next

Bestpass, Inc., last week announced it now provides customers with full tolling coverage in Texas.

The company provides single-source payment and toll management services to commercial fleets.

Bestpass is in the final stages of testing the new service in Texas with Werner Enterprises, the first trucking company to use Bestpass to pay for tolls in the state. Bestpass expects to offer Texas coverage to all of its clients within the next month.

Bestpass now covers all Texas tolling authorities and facilities, including TxDOT’s TxTag, Harris County Toll Road Authority’s EZ TAG and the North Texas Tollway Authority’s TollTag. Bestpass consolidates all three of the Texas services and integrates them with other tolling services across the country, providing its customers with a single point of contact.

With the addition of Oklahoma in early 2016, the company said it expects to cover 100 percent of major U.S. tolling facilities in the near future.

Bestpass also recently announced a collaboration with Detroit International Bridge Company, owners of the Ambassador Bridge, to streamline toll service for commercial vehicles using the bridge to travel between Detroit and Windsor, Ontario, in Canada.
