Two major trucking companies announced their drivers of the year recently.
Crete Carrier, which is based in Lincoln, Neb. named:
- Andrei Florea rookie of the year
- Carl Rial trainer of the year
- Louis and Leah Sheets team of the year
- Kim Hutchinson owner/operator of the year
- Ronald Ayres company driver of the year
Shaffer Trucking, which also is based in Lincoln, named:
- Robert Turnbaugh company driver of the year
- John Bazier and Debra Macpherson-Bazier team of the year
- Ernesto Garcia trainer of the year
