Peterbilt donates money to United Way.
Peterbilt recently presented the United Way of Denton County, Texas a donation of $487,579.
The company says this represents a 15 percent increase over last year and a new record.
The donation includes employee payroll contributions, a corporate pledge and money collected during a weeklong series of fundraising activities, according to the company.
Peterbilt said it and its employees have donated more than $4 million during the past 10 years to the United Way of Denton County.
