Two facing charges after shooting at trucker

A truck driver is recovering from minor injuries after he was shot at while driving along Interstate 81 in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania near the Middlesex Exit on Tuesday, May 31.

The bullet went through the truck’s passenger side window and then through the windshield, according to local news reports. The trucker’s minor injuries were caused by glass debris. His name has not been released.

Police say Tony Thomas, age 23 of Middleburg, Virginia, fired the shot from a semi-automatic pistol. He is facing charges of aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person, among other charges. Abigail Curran, age 36, was with Thomas at the time of the shooting and is being charged with riot and disorderly conduct.
