A Sutherlin, Oregon truck driver won $9.4 million playing that state’s Megabucks lottery game.

Eric Tackett, who works for Smalley Trucking Company, told The News-Review that he drove his truck to the lottery offices Monday to collect his prize while delivering a load of drywall.

Tackett and his wife, Beth Tackett, usually deliver steel along the I-5 corridor.

He opted for the lump sum payment and receives about $3 million after taxes.

Tackett said he bought the ticket at the Coburg TA truck stop, which will receive a 1 percent bonus for selling the winning ticket.
