Love’s Travel Stops is back in Gulfport, Mississippi.
The company had a travel center there up until seven years ago when the state acquired the property through eminent domain for a road-widening project.
The new Love’s opened Thursday, Oct. 20, and is located at Interstate 10 and County Farm Road, three miles west of the original Love’s on Interstate 10 and Canal Road.
The new location is larger and features:
- 97 truck parking spaces
- Seven showers
- RFID cardless fueling
- CAT scales
- Love’s Truck Tire Care Center
- McDonald’s and Chester’s Chicken restaurants
The opening of the Gulfport location marks Love’s 12th store in Mississippi and the 29th along I-10 that stretches from Florida to California.
“Returning to Gulfport has been of a focus of ours for many years, so it’s exciting for this facility full of amenities to open,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love’s.
Love’s has more than 390 locations in 40 states.
