The wait is just about over.
Exhibitors are filling up some 1 million square feet of the Kentucky Exposition Center and show trucks are rolling in as the Mid-America Trucking Show prepares to open Thursday, March 23.
Doors open to the public at 1 p.m. Thursday. Admission is $10 and is good for all three days of the show; children under 14 are free.
Back this year are the major truck makers.
In addition to being a massive marketplace for all things truck-related, MATS offers plenty of music. Thompson Square headlines the free concert sponsored by Mobil Delvac Friday, March 24 in Freedom Hall. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and trucker and singer/songwriter Tony Justice opens at 7 p.m. Complimentary tickets will be distributed, while supplies last, from the Mobil Delvac booth (#18160) in the North Wing during show hours.
Free tractor/trailer parking is available at Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium, courtesy of TA/Petro. There will also be a free shuttle service to transport patrons to and from the Kentucky Expo Center. The lot is accessible from 4146 Park Boulevard at Gate D, noted by the TA/Petro banner. TA/Petro also offers truck service and showers at this location.
Get the MATS app for your smartphone and make navigating the show a bit easier.
