DOT Secretary Chao talks about her life, work

Infrastructure is important to the trucking industry, and is one of the hottest of hot button issues in Washington, D.C. these days. At the lead in what President Trump plans on doing about America’s highways and bridges is Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao.

In Politico’s Women Rule podcast, Chao talks about her life as an immigrant child in America, and her role in Trump’s cabinet. In part Chao says, “It’s actually very reassuring to have been a cabinet member before, I’m a veteran … We’re very surefooted, we’re confident, we know what we’re doing and we know what’s important.”
