The Colorado Department of Transportation today posted to its Facebook page that a tractor/trailer fire has closed part of westbound I-70. CDOT wrote:
Two lanes are closed on westbound I-70, half a mile west of the Lookout Mountain exit, due to a fuel tank fire/clean-up. Approximately 150 gallons of diesel spilled onto the roadway. This will be a lengthy closure. One lane will still be open westbound, but there will be major delays in the area. Motorists can take HWY 40 as an alternate route. No injuries.
