Texas’ grand champion is FedEx Freight’s Michael Cirrincione

FedEx Freight’s Michael Ciriincione now has bragging rights after being named grand champion at the annual Texas Truck Driving Championship. He also won first place in the 3-Axle class.

The competition was held June 1-2 in Waco. It was organized by the Texas Trucking Association.

The winners were:

3-Axle: Michael Cirrincione, FedEx Freight

4-Axle: Derald Watson, AAA Cooper Transportation

5-Axle: Jack Hargett, AAA Cooper Transportation

Sleeper Berth: Onesimo Gandara, YRC Freight

Tanker: Theo Wilson, HEB Grocery Company

Twins: Carl Crago Jr., Old Dominion Freight Line

Step Van: Jack Henderson, FedEx Express

Flatbed: Jaret Holmes, FedEx Freight

Straight Truck: Jose Gonzalez, HEB Grocery Company
