XPO Logistics won the team trophy at the annual Iowa Truck Driving Championships.

Jerry Beckman, a Walmart Transportation driver, was named grand champion while FedEx Express driver Adam Stroup was recognized as Rookie of the Year.

The Iowa Motor Truck Association organized the competition, which was held June 14-15 in Altoona.

The winners were:

Grand Champion: Jerry Beckman, Walmart Transportation

Rookie of the Year: Adam Stroup, FedEx Express

Highest Pre-Trip Score: Scott Delaney, Casey’s General Stores

Team Sportsmanship Award: Green Products Company

Individual Sportsmanship Award: Scott Delaney, Casey’s General Stores

Team Award: XPO Logistics

3-Axle: Jerry Beckman, Walmart Transportation

4-Axle: Dean Key, Ruan Transportation

5-Axle: Scott Delaney, Casey’s General Stores

Straight Truck: Adam Stroup, FedEx Express

Twin Trailers: Jim Stinemates, Walmart Transportation

Sleeper Berth: George Lundahl, Schuster Co.

Tanker: George Foster, Casey’s General Stores

Flatbed: Richard Meimann, Casey’s General Stores
