Around the country, in the next several months there will be several charity events during which trucks can do what they do so very well: help others.
Coming up are:
- Northeast Professional Truck Drivers Charity Challenge, Sunday, Sept. 9 benefits St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. The event is held at the Fort Devens Museum in Devens, Massachusettes, and you can register online.
- Guilty By Association Truck Show, Sept.27-29 at 4 States Trucks in Joplin, Missouri features its annual truck convoy for Special Olympics. You can register for the convoy online.
- Truckers Parade Against Cancer, Oct. 13 at the Central Middle School in Charlotte Court House, Virginia. Visit the event website online for more details and to register.
- The Truck Convoy for Special Olympics of Delaware, Oct. 20 at the Delaware State Fairgrounds in Harrington. Last year 243 truckers raised $61,000. You can register online.
