A truck driver who was hit and killed by another truck while trying to help a pickup truck driver fix a flat tire on their camper has been identified by authorities as 62-year-old Randal W. Landwehr from Marathon, Wisconsin.

The accident occurred Sept. 4 along I-39 southbound in Rothschild, Wisconsin near mile marker 186. Landwehr drove for B&K Trucking and was an over the road driver for over 35 years, according to his obituary. His family says he was known to lend a hand or ear to anyone who needed him.
