Two new travel centers opened in the Midwest Thursday, June 20, adding a total of 264 new truck parking spaces.
Love’s Travel Stops opened stores in Bridgeport Charter Township, Michigan; and Hampshire, Illinois.
The Bridgeport Charter Township location at 6560 Dixie Highway near Interstate 75 Exit 144 south of Saginaw adds 87 truck parking spaces.
The new Love’s in Hampshire, Illinois is located at 201 Love’s Crossing near Interstate 90 and US Highway 20, and has 177 truck parking spaces. It’s situated between Rockford and Schaumburg northeast of Chicago.
There are now five Love’s locations in Michigan and 19 in Illinois.
The Michigan location has:
- Hardee’s restaurant
- Eight diesel bays
- Speedco location on-site
- Eight showers
- Laundry facilities
- Mobile to Go Zone with the latest electronics
- CAT scale
The new Illinois Love’s has:
- Arby’s restaurant
- Nine diesel bays
- Speedco location on-site
- Seven showers
- Laundry facilities
- Mobile to Go Zone with the latest electronics
- CAT scale
