Georgia DOT reopens roads, bridges after Hurricane Dorian

The Georgia Department of Transportation has reopened all of the state’s roads and bridges after Hurricane Dorian skirted the coast but left no major damage.

Georgia DOT had 860 crew members on standby for the storm ready to respond with 1,033 pieces of equipment. After Hurricane Dorian came through, only brushing the Georgia coastline, bridge inspection teams were deployed.
