Here’s what the National Weather Service says is in store for a large chunk of the northern U.S. through the three-day holiday weekend, and it’s somewhat similar to what has been happening in the Northern Plains and beyond.
The weather service says a storm will move across the Great Lakes and northern New England and deliver enough snow to make driving difficult in spots. Blizzard conditions — including high winds — are expected in parts of the Midwest On Sunday and into Monday watch for lake effect snows.
