United Petroleum Transports recently named a company driver of 14 years its 2020 Driver of the Year.
Alkarim Nasser of Albuquerque won the award, which includes a trophy and cash and merchandise valued at $18,000. He was chosen from a field of monthly winners.
Greg Price, UPT president and CEO, and David Price, chief operating officer, presented Nasser, who had also been nominated in the past, with his honors. Nassar came to the U.S. from East Africa in1997.
UPT is a family-owned company located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It has some 520 drivers.
