Explosion and fire damage UPS warehouse; trucks and trailers destroyed

A UPS customer center was heavily damaged in an explosion and fire Monday in Lancaster, California.

Some 70 firefighters responded to the blaze at the warehouse. One minor injury was reported, and 25 people were evacuated from the building, which was heavily damaged.

A total of 25 UPS trucks and 10 tractor-trailers were damaged, according to authorities.

The cause of the 9 a.m. fire remains unknown.
