Love’s will rebrand all 11 EZ GO turnpike stops in Oklahoma and Kansas, with work scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2023, weather permitting.
In April, Love’s acquired EZ GO from Oklahoma-based Carey Johnson Oil Company. The acquisition included six travel stops on Oklahoma turnpikes and five on the Kansas Turnpike. The turnpike locations are the first ever for Love’s.
Averitt Express honored with Quest for Quality Award
Logistics Management magazine readers have acknowledged Averitt Express as an outstanding transportation and logistics provider for the publication’s 40th Quest for Quality Awards. This year’s recognition marks the 25 consecutive year the company has been acknowledged.
The Quest for Quality Awards survey is a comprehensive study on shipper satisfaction within the transportation and logistics sector. There are several criteria shippers use to judge which carriers deserve the honor, including: on-time performance, customer service, ease of doing business, and overall value as a service provider.
This year, Averitt received high rankings in five key categories, including:
- South/South Central Regional LTL Carrier
- Truckload Dry Freight
- Expedited Services
- 3PL Transportation Management
- 3PL Value-Added Service
“We are honored to be recognized again by the shipping community for our continued hard work and dedication,” said Barry Blakely, Averitt’s president and COO. “Our drivers and associates are committed to ensuring reliable and quality service to our customers, and we are eager to continue delivering on that commitment.”
