Trimac Transportation this week announced it has acquired Doyle Sims & Sons Trucking along with its brokerage operations.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Gleason, Tennessee company is a market leader in dry and liquid bulk hauling, primarily servicing the South and Midwest. Trimac provides bulk shipping solutions in both Canada and the United States while augmenting its network with partners in Mexico. In addition to the asset division, Sims & Sons’ premier brokerage offering complements the company’s asset operations by providing expanded capacity with quality, reliable carriers, according to a statement from Trimac.
