Numerous “… of the year” awards will be handed out in the next several months, but here’s one that truly stands out.
Friday night the Ontario (Canada) Trucking Association named its truck driver of the year. The award went to Dale Cockins, a company driver for Meyers Transport.
Cockins has driven truck for 47 years, has racked up about 5.3 million accident-free miles, and was called “a trucker’s trucker.”
But it’s Cockins’ comments in this video that may be the most impressive part of his story.
