Women are large and in charge in these four crime shows, all available for streaming. Whether they’re leading a team, solving a murder investigation or cleaning up after politicians in Washington D.C., these ladies have everything under control.

1. Rizzoli & Isles

Homicide detective Jane Rizzoli (Angie Harmon) and chief medical examiner Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander) are opposites, but they make quite the crime-solving team in this series. Set in Boston, the two unlikely best friends work together to solve the city’s homicides. The first six seasons are currently available on Hulu. The show’s seventh and final season will be added to Hulu after the season is complete.

2. Scandal

Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) is a political fixer, meaning that when politicians find themselves in the center or a scandal – or a crime – she steps in to make the problem go away. Five seasons are available for streaming on Netflix.

3. Homeland

CIA officer Carrie Mathison (Clare Danes) is put on probation after going on an unauthorized operation in Iraq. She receives a warning that an American prisoner of war had been turned by al-Qaeda, and now she has to figure out how to stop them from threatening the nation. Seasons 1-4 can be streamed on Hulu; Seasons 1-5 can be streamed on Hulu with a SHOWTIME subscription.

4. The Closer

LAPD Deputy Police Chief Benda Johnson (Kyra Sedgwick) oversees the department’s Priority Homicide Division, where she and her team tackle the city’s toughest cases. All seven season are available through Amazon Video.
