Canadian trucking group raising funds to fight breast cancer

The Women’s Trucking Federation of Canada is inviting women from all areas of trucking to come together for a Trucking for a Cure photo opportunity.

The group wants to assemble a huge group of women in trucking together to take a picture with the Pinky Truck during the 7th Annual Trucking for a Cure Woodstock Convoy at the TA Travel Center located on Sweaburg Road (Exit 230) in Woodstock, Ontario. The Pinky Truck photo opportunity is scheduled for Sept. 24 at 11:30 a.m. local time.

TA will offer a complimentary breakfast, there will be an awards show and live performances by the Danny Thompson Band. Driver registration is at 9 a.m.

All funds raised at the event will go directly to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
