Voting is open for the 2019 Queen of the Road Awards given by the Real Women in Trucking organization.
Three nominees who receive the top vote totals receive:
- $500.00 Visa gift card
- “Queen of the Road” recognition award
- free RWIT membership and membership for the person who made the nomination
- commemorative event booklet and event t-shirt
Voting closes at the end of the month. Winners will be announced before April 12 awards ceremony to be held in Tampa, Florida sponsored by RoadPro Family of Brands.
According to RWIT, no photos or names of the nominees will be published until after the top-ranked individuals are selected. The purpose for this is to avoid voting bias based on appearance or ethnicity by voters.
