The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration holds its second public listening session on its proposal for hours of service changes Sept. 17 in Washington, D.C.
The listening session will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern Time at the U.S. Department of Transportation, 1200 New Jersey Ave. SE in Washington, D.C. The session will give truck drivers and others in the trucking industry an opportunity to comment on the agency’s plan to provide commercial drivers greater flexibility within the hours of service rules.
Agency officials were at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas last week for the first listening session.
