In midst of COVID, flu season arrives. Will you get a shot?


As if we haven’t had enough health drama this year because of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the traditional flu season is now upon us.

Health officials at all levels are warning that this year because of COVID-19, it’s more important than ever to get a flu shot to combat this year’s strain of influenza.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warn, “Getting a flu vaccine is more important than ever during 2020-2021 to protect yourself and the people around you from flu, and to help reduce the strain on health care systems responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.”

But, as with every other year, getting a flu shot in 2020 is optional. Many Americans will get vaccinated, while others will not. What about you? Take our poll:
