Three people — including a trucker — were injured in a fiery crash of a tanker truck on Interstate 95 north of Philadelphia recently.
The accident occurred at about 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15 in the southbound lanes of I-95 between Exits 39 and Exit 37 in Bensalem Township of Bucks County shortly after 9 p.m., Pennsylvania State Police said. The tanker reportedly crashed and flipped onto its side after colliding with another vehicle. Images from the scene show it hanging over the interstate overpass.
Police continue their investigation, according to WAU-TV.
Conditions of the injured and their identities have not been released.
Northbound lanes of I-95 were opened by 11 p.m. but southbound lanes were closed until about 5:30 a.m. the next day, Nov. 18.

Tractor-trailer crashes into North Carolina funeral home
A trucker and passenger escaped serious injury Tuesday, Nov. 19, when the tractor-trailer they were in crashed into a funeral home in downtown Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
The mishap occurred at about 8:30 p.m. when the trucker exited westbound Business 40 onto Main Street. The driver was on a new exit ramp and told police his brakes failed before he hit Salem Funerals and Cremations, which was unoccupied at the time.
Transportation officials explain the exit ramp is new and may need increased signage, according to the Winston-Salem Journal.
The cab of the truck was demolished in the wreck, which also knocked out power in the area.
