Police continue their investigation into a two-vehicle collision Tuesday morning that sent a tractor-trailer crashing through the side of a school in southern Minnesota.

Numerous media reports say the truck struck another vehicle making a left-hand turn Highway 218 near the school in Lyle, Minnesota, which is located on the Iowa border. The truck left the highway, and drove through the school parking lot before striking the side of the school at about 8:30 a.m.

Classes were in session at the time if the mishap.

The Star Tribune reports the truck hit a divider between two rooms. Some of its diesel spilled in the school but did not catch fire.

Two students were reported to have had minor injures. The truck’s driver, who has not been identified by police, refused treatment at the scene.

Students were evacuated to a church across the street.
