A highlight of the weekend will be the truck parade Friday night when many of the SuperRigs trucks will travel from the convention center to historic downtown Joplin. Beginning at 6 p.m., drivers will stage their rigs, turn on their lights, pump up the music and start the street party. The festivities will include judging of the annual Shell ROTELLA SuperRigs lights contest, a fireworks display and a live performance by trucker and country music artist Tony Justice.

Owner/operators from across the U.S. and Canada will compete for more than $25,000 worth of cash and prizes. Twelve drivers will be selected to have their trucks featured in the 2017 Shell ROTELLA SuperRigs calendar.

Truck judging takes place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, from 7:30 a.m.to 5 p.m. on Friday, and between 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.  The awards ceremony will take place at about 2 p.m. Saturday.
