Tim Baumgartner’s Freedom Flyer
Tim Baumgartner is the latest subject of Volvo’s Welcome to My Cab video series. Baumgartner is the owner of a heavy-duty towing operation, and drives his award-winning “Freedom Flyer,” a patriotic-themed Volvo VNL.
A veteran of the Vietnam War and founder and owner of Crockett’s Interstate Towing in Eugene, Ore.
“I’ve got 1.2 million miles on this truck,” Baumgartner said. “It’s just a class ride.”
Volvo says its Welcome to My Cab series offers professional truck drivers a way to show their appreciation of large trucks and inspire others.
