A Utah Highway Patrol trooper’s dashcam caught an unusual — and dangerous — trucking moment on I-15 north of Salt Lake City earlier this month. Tires on a tractor-trailer began to smoke and then caught fire. The trooper tried to put out the flames, but couldn’t. The trucker crawled under the trailer with an extinguisher — that’s when a tire exploded.
