A 34-year-old man Tuesday, Dec. 10, led police on a wild chase through several Texas communities in a stolen 2014 Volvo tractor. It ended with the man being arrested and the truck returned to its owner.
The chase began when Haltom City Police attempted to stop the truck around 11:45 a.m. after officers used GPS to track down the truck, which had been reported stolen in Fort Worth.
The driver of the stolen truck, Travis Andrew Brandon, led officers on a pursuit through several communities, including Hurst, Richland Hills, Fort Worth, Saginaw and back to Haltom City. In the process, Brandon struck two other vehicles. He eventually stopped the truck and fled on foot, but was quickly captured by police.
Brandon now faces several charges from Haltom City and Fort Worth, including unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and evading arrest with a vehicle.
