A section of US Highway 287 in Fort Worth was closed for several hours Monday, Sept. 13, when a tractor-trailer fell off of an overpass.
The crash occurred at about 3:30 a.m. when, for unknown reasons, the rig went over the guardrail and landed on Bonds Ranch Road below. The tractor-trailer is said to have been destroyed, but the driver walked away from the crash.
Reports say the highway was reopened by about 7:30 a.m.
Police continue their investigation.
