HBO Now will release several classic films in September, including cult classics Beetlejuice and V for Vendetta. The paid service will also feature Unbroken and Wild, both recent movies released last year, as part of its Saturday Night Movies series.
Highlights include:
V for Vendetta is set in a future British tyranny. A mysterious freedom fighter known as “V” plots to overthrow the government with the help of a young woman.
Unbroken, set during World War II, tells the story of Olympian Louie Zamperini and how he spent 47 days floating in a raft with two crewman after a plane crash. Zamperini and his fellow crewman are caught by the Japanese navy and sent to a prisoner-of-war camp.
Blade Runner tells the story of a man who must pursue and try to terminate four replicants who stole a ship in space and have returned to Earth to find their creator.
Beetlejuice is the story of a set of recently deceased ghosts who want to call upon the skills of a “bio-exercist” to remove the new owners of their former home.
