The local government in Akron, Ohio, approved the lease of 8.4 acres for $21,000 annually to Stark State College, which plans to open a trucking school on the lot, reports the Akron Beacon Journal.

The new trucking school has already received $350,000 in state support and is looking to build a revolving fund to offer financial support to its students. Once open, the trucking school will offer a seven-week CDL training program. The school is anticipated to open sometime next year.
