Jump ropes may make you think of your elementary school playground days, but they’re hardly just for children. A jump rope can easily be folded up and stored in your truck, and with Spring coming it’s a great time to get out of the cab to exercise before the summer heat arrives and makes it too hot.
These three jump rope exercises will help you get some of your cardio workout in. Always consult your physician before starting a new diet or exercise.
1. Boxer Step
Swing your jump rope in front of you and hop as the rope goes under your feet. Alternate between landing on your left side and your side as the rope passes under your feet.
