CarriersEdge, an online provider of truck driver training resources, now offers a vehicle inspection training course in Spanish. The course consists of 10 modules and is available in two versions, straight trucks and tractor-trailers.
The vehicle inspection modules cover what drivers need to know for proper inspections and reporting, as well as best practices for staying safe during pre-trip inspections. Jane Jazrawy, co-founder and chief executive officer of CarriersEdge, said the tutorials are designed to test drivers on their vehicle inspection knowledge and proficiency. The modules include animation and videos with real-world scenarios.
“Plus, we include information on how to check the main engine system, fluids, belts and hoses, and, how to inspect each axle. Our trailer segment includes tutorials on proper inspections and what to look for,” Jazrawy said.
CarriersEdge also has Spanish-language defensive driving and hours of service classes.
