A 25-year-old man is in custody in connection with Monday morning’s fatal shooting of a truck driver for the U.S. Postal Service.
Several Dallas news outlets are reporting Donnie Ferrell, 25, of Hutchins, was arrested Wednesday night. He faces multiple charges including one for murder. Police said they were working to determine a motive.
He is being held in the Dallas County jail.
A Department of Justice spokesperson reportedly said Ferrell’s arrest was related to the shooting of 58-year-old Tony Mosby, who was driving a U.S. Postal Service truck on I-30 when he was shot.
U.S. Postal Inspectors have offered a reward up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction in this case.
