The trucking industry has no shortage of things to do in May. From several state trucking championships to various truck shows, the industry’s May calendar is packed.
The month kicks off with the Midwest Pride In Your Ride Truck and Tractor Show at the Tri-State Raceway in Earlville, Iowa, May 4-5. Admissions is $10 per day and children under 12 receive free admission. The truck show will be distributing free purple survivor shirts to any attendees who are cancer survivors.
The show will feature a cancer survivor convoy its first night followed by a truck pull and light show. The next day’s activities will include a children’s tractor pull, live auction and truck drag racing. Vendors will be set up throughout the show both days. Gates open at 8 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
The month ends with the American Truck Historical Society National Convention and Truck Show at Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky May 31 to June 2.
