Loretta Bruyere was named grand champion at the New Mexico TDC. (Image Courtesy of New Mexico Trucking Association)The New Mexico Trucking Association named FedEx Freight driver Loretta Bruyere the grand champion of the New Mexico Truck Driving Championship. She also won first place in the Twin Trailers class.
Bruyere got her CDL in 2002 and started driving for FedEx in 2011. She began competing in the New Mexico trucking championship in 2012.
The annual competition was held May 19 in Albuquerque.
