Tim McNamee, a YRC Freight driver, was named Minnesota’s grand champion. (Minnesota Trucking Association)Minnesota truck drivers competed in the annual Minnesota Truck Driving Championship June 9-10 in Burnsville at the YRC Worldwide facility. YRC Freight driver Tim McNamee won the grand champion title after also winning first place in the 5-Axle class.
Transport America driver Glenn Williams was named Rookie of the Year.
The annual competition was organized by the Minnesota Trucking Association.
