Landstar owner-operator Rosemberg Villarreal, of Grand Prairie, Texas, was selected by the company as the winner of a new 2019 Peterbilt 579 UltraLoft giveaway.
Villarreal was one of five finalists randomly selected from more than 217,000 contest entries.

(Landstar photo)“I received the call that I was a finalist for the giveaway on my birthday a few weeks ago,” Villarreal said. “My birthday wish, to win this truck, came true. I cannot thank Landstar enough for this gift.”
The giveaway was the first of two set for this year as part of the company’s “Deliver to Win Truck Giveaway.” This giveaway was part of Landstar’s Business Capacity Owner (BCO) Appreciation Days event, a two-day event held each year to thank the company’s owner-operators.
The next giveaway will be held in July in Savannah, Georgia, during the annual Landstar BCO All-Star Celebration event, where the company honors its million-mile safe drivers and Roadstar honorees.
