A truck driver died Wednesday, July 31 in Tacoma, Washington while making repairs to his truck.
According to a Facebook post by a Washington State Patrol Trooper, the driver pulled over on the shoulder of northbound Interstate 5 near Pacific Avenue to make repairs. He is said to have been under the truck when it rolled over him.
He died at the scene.
The driver was not identified. Police continue their investigation.
Witnesses indicate that a semi truck was pulled to the right shoulder with the driver outside and appeared to be making repairs to the vehicle when it started moving again. The driver was sadly struck by the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries.
