
Louisiana-based John N. John trucking company is raising breast cancer awareness with its new âAwareness Alwaysâ campaign featuring two new pink trucks that hit the road Oct. 1.
The fleet will donate five cents for every mile driven by those trucks during the month of October to support breast cancer screening programs, research, and resources.
John N. John drivers Roberto Marquez and Albert Jordan were selected to drive the trucks, and both men have dedicated their individual truck routes to loved ones who have fought or are currently fighting breast cancer. Marquez and Jordan will make their way across the U.S. and Canada to challenge others to support the âAwareness Alwaysâ campaign as well while promoting breast cancer awareness.
âSeven years ago, my niece Gina lost her battle to breast cancer,â said Jordan. âAs an âAwareness Alwaysâ ambassador, I want to send a strong message of encouragement to every person who understands this battle, because no matter how tough the fight gets, there is still hope and weâre in this together.â
