Argument over parking spot leads to shooting

A dispute over a reserved parking space at a truck stop in Oklahoma wound up with a truck driver being shot by a security guard.

Details remain sketchy of the shooting that took place in the early morning hours of Friday, Feb. 14 at T A Truck Services near Interstate 40 and South Council Road in Oklahoma City. However, media reports say the security guard asked the trucker to move his rig from a reserved parking spot. The altercation escalated and the security guard shot and wound the trucker, who was taken to Oklahoma University Medical Center and is listed in critical condition.

The shooting is said to have occurred at about 4:35 a.m.

Authorities say the security guard was questioned and released.
